Relevant Product

What makes a product relevant? Quality, durability and production conditions all play a part. Simplicity has been certified to Textile Exchange standards since 2025. We ensure transparency regarding the material composition of our products, both on the products themselves and in our online shop, and indicate the applicable standard for relevant items. Currently, these are the Responsible Mohair Standard (RMS) and the Responsible Down Standard (RDS). 'Relevant Product' reflects our approach of combining design, responsibility and customer needs.

Smart People

We are motivated by trust, respect and the opportunity to grow. We want our employees and partners to value Simplicity as a good employer and business partner. Connected Operations

Simplicity is about more than just products and people. It's also about the processes behind them. Energy, water, logistics and digital processes bring many different areas together. On campus, in the offices and at various other sites, individual steps are interconnected. There are many processes and points of interaction, all geared towards clear coordination, efficient workflows and economical operations.

We are digital and efficient.

Digital technologies support long-term development in many areas. In our offices, information is collected, processed and shared digitally. In logistics, robot-assisted systems support warehousing, order picking and the movement of goods. We develop our own software solutions for seemingly unsolvable challenges. Our app for our retail partners was therefore honoured with the Digital.Pilot23 Award from the Warendorf District Gesellschaft für Wirtschaftsförderung.

Bees

We have our own bee colonies living on our campus. Our employees, who have been trained as beekeepers, look after the colonies and harvest the honey themselves.

Energy on campus

Our roofs are fitted with photovoltaic systems that generate electricity. These systems have an installed capacity of 690 kWp. Our geothermal heating system helps supply heat to the campus.

Nature

Our campus in Oelde is surrounded by more than 24,900 m² of flowering meadows, around 8,900 m² of mixed woodland, and around 8,100 m² of biotope.

E-mobility

There are 38 electric car charging points available on our campus. Our employees can use these to charge their cars during working hours.

Food

Our team on campus is served freshly cooked lunches. The menu regularly features seasonal dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, such as produce from local farms or the weekly market.

Building

When planning and building our campus in Oelde, we drew inspiration from the Green Building Standard. An exceptional workplace where you can feel your best.

Water

We filter the tap water on campus and fill it into Soulbottles. According to the manufacturer, the glass bottles are made from between 60 and 80 per cent recycled glass. This allows us to remove the need for single-use plastic bottles and the delivery of drinks.

Our smart methods within the sales cycle support needs-based stock planning. The aim is to optimally align stock levels with demand. Deliveries are checked against up-to-date market data and reviewed regularly, while dynamic pricing helps retailers to sell at the optimal price. We connect retailers when products needed in one location are surplus to requirements in another, and assist with the curation of sales areas.
